IT MADE MY WHOLE MISSION WORTH IT

This was an insane week even though it was short we got things done. Started with the temple which was awesome, love going to the temple but it made this week feel so off.  We got to hangout with all the missionaries that came to the temple and ate at canes. Wednesday was even better, Judith was going to get baptized next Saturday, but the Ward is going to the temple next Saturday so we decided to change it to Friday which was in 2 days.  We went over and told her why we wanted to move it, and she was so excited. She is so excited to go to the temple this Saturday. She did a bunch of family history work already and can't wait to go inside!  

We also got to teach the family of 4 this week and we taught the plan of Salvation with them, and they loved it.  They couldn't believe how perfect it was. They said their goal is to live with their family forever in the celestial kingdom.  It was the coolest experience ever. We put them on date for next month and they are so excited. Deon, Shane, Johairis, and Shanon. They all came to church and they loved it. It was so good to see them all in church. They already confirmed to come next week it was amazing.

This weekend I was able to go to St Joseph where I basically started my first 6 month of my mission, It was the best thing ever.  I missed that place like crazy. I got to go to the family I baptized and married all in the same night. They were so happy to see me and it made my whole mission worth it.  They said they will start going to church again because it's been a while, and they went yesterday so that's awesome.  This work is the best work on earth.  Seeing people change and be as happy as they are makes it all worth it.  

Sunday night we met with James Scott who got baptized a couple weeks ago and he is doing so amazing.  He got a new car and said that it all started when we first came over. He said that church has changed his life and has brought him to the light.  He loves the book of mormon and brings it up to everyone he sees.

 WEEK FULL OF MEETINGS AND INSTRUCTION

This week was full of meetings and instruction every day but Sunday we had a meeting so that was extremely draining.  All of the meetings were super good because we had an area presidency come and talk with us, his main point was that we do everything because of Jesus Christ. We had 3 zone conferences and 2 leadership meetings. Then to finish off we had a spanish meeting which was awesome.  He gave super good advice and the main difference between them and English speaking people is that they love us and most white people don't haha. Last Monday we called this lady named Judith and she told us that she can't come to church because of her ears, so we told her to pray and ask God and she did. She called us Friday telling us that she prayed and knows that she needs to go to church and get baptized she's on Date for the 1st of June. Please Pray for Judith. We also went to a baptism on Saturday. Her name was Iris and she was the Hispanic lady that I said the first vision too and she said she wanted to get baptized 3 weeks later she got baptized! That was really cool to experience. Her entire family came to her baptism and we are teaching 7 of them. Overall a great week.  We have a ton of good things going on in this area and I love my new companion we're working super hard and we have seen so many miracles!  Also sorry this Monday we were able to go to the temple.

 This week went so fast. Started out with MLC and we had a little fun activity with everyone after as well we got to play some football with the elders which was a blast, then we got to do our transfer meeting. I'm staying 1 more here.  It'll be 7 ½ months in this area but I'm still excited to see how it all goes. My companion is leaving so I'll be getting a new companion this Thursday. We also got some awesome news that we can go to the temple once a transfer now.  Friday we had another meeting and an exchange which was fun. Then Saturday came which was a blast, I got to go on an exchange with Elder Carman and we put D'moni on date which was awesome.  We had so much fun teaching people all day, and then went to a Rodeo on Saturday night.  We were directing everyone to their seats, then half way through they said we could go in and watch it such a fun night. Pray for D'moni and Shane's family please.
