WILD 2 WEEKS

"He takes us as we are - and makes us MORE than we ever imagined."  Neil F. Marriott

What a wild 2 weeks it has been in the Mexico MTC. Let me tell you it's been way better than home MTC. Other than the food. I miss having normal cereal in the mornings and some Burger and fries for dinner. I got here 2 weeks ago and only have 2 more weeks left in the CCM. These past 2 weeks have been soooo crazy with so many devotionals and classes, and yet I still hardly know any spanish. Our schedule is basically the same thing every day except for p-day and Sunday. You get up and go get breakfast, right after that you go to class for about 3 hours and then you have personal and language study for the next hour. After that we go to lunch and then have gym time. Gym time is super fun.  There's always a bunch of pick up games for B-ball that are fun and sand volleyball which is super fun. Then you go back to class for about 4 hours until you go home at 9:00. We have dinner right in the middle of the 2nd class and let me tell you everything you eat here is a risk. The 2nd night we were here everyone in my room got food poisoning and were up all night rotating into the bathroom. But since then I haven't gotten too sick but my companion got super super sick and had to go to the infirmary. The first week I was here I was super lucky to have Grant here to show me around and tell me what food was OK to eat and not OK to eat.  My whole district thought we were brothers because we both had buzzed heads and said the same jokes. He left just a week after I got there which was a dagger. But now Will W. is here which is super cool.  Two days ago about 400 new kids came and it's been super crowded everywhere.  Alright now to the good parts.  Last P-day we got the chance to go to the temple and do a Session which was a cool experience. The only problem was it was in all spanish.  Our mission president said you'll be able to understand everything because you're a missionary.  Let me tell you he was wrong I didn't understand anything.  It was still an amazing experience and such a beautiful temple. After the temple we drove back and played Basketball for about 3 hours. P-day went by soo fast it felt like we never had it. Every Sunday is a good day because we go to the cafeteria in the morning and everyone sees who won in college football.  And the first week everyone was going crazy because Utah lost.  My companion is super cool, we get along really well and both love football.  Every Tuesday is the greatest day for food. For dinner we get Costco pizza. It's like a miracle from heaven. There's a record of 68 pizza slices eaten from a district.  So my district is going to try and beat it. It's the only thing you can eat that doesn't have a green or red sauce.
