GOD PLACED US RIGHT IN HIS PATH
"As we follow the Savior, He blesses us with gifts, talents, and the strength to do His will, allowing us to go beyond our comfort zones and do things we've never before thought possible."
This week was something else we were up in Liberty every day except for Wednesday. Started off the week with some basketball Tuesday morning with a bunch of elders, then we had MLC that day with zone leaders and STLs and that was pretty fun. Most of the leaders that I'm close with left leadership this transfer. It's crazy how different the mission is from when I first came to now. Wednesday we got to work in our area and do a bunch of transfer stuff. Thursday we had Transfers and everyone got their new companion and area then we drove all the missionaries that were leaving, up to far-west and Adam-ondi-Ahman. Where we had a cool testimony meeting in ADAM-ONDI-AHMAN. Then we went back home had a fancy dinner and stayed up so late talking to some of the missionaries leaving because they were my best friends and they were leaving the mission Friday morning . We picked up all the new missionaries which was a blast and went to the temple and Liberty Jail, and explained what the mission was going to be like and they were so excited. I love seeing all the new missionaries and how excited they are. Saturday they got their trainers and then worked the rest of the day in our area we had a crazy miracle. I was teaching this kid about 7 months ago who's name was Izzy. He changed his entire life and started coming to church each week and his week we found his brother out of nowhere. God placed us right in his path. His brothers name is Hyrum and he has the cutest family that he wants to start activating. They were so excited that I knew Izzy and instantly let us into their house and wanted us to teach them. It was the coolest thing ever. That family has been one of many that God wanted me to influence. The odds of us running into him was like a 0.5 percent chance, but God knew that I needed to be in their life. Crazy how many miracles you see as a missionary. Sunday we had an insane sacrament meeting we had a bunch of Samoans sing and it was insane. Then one of our friends that we are teaching sang and her voice was amazing! We had a couple more musical numbers and 2 talks. We had 10 friends of ours come to church which was awesome. David went and looked at the baptismal fount and is excited to get baptized this month. I also had the opportunity to teach a lesson in Spanish. We found a family of 6 that spoke Spanish and they were all so nice. It was hard without a companion and 7 months away from spanish but they were nice and understood most of it haha.
