SMALL MIRACLES THAT REMIND

US HE IS THERE

"Be the reason someone feels welcomed, seen, heard, valued, loved and supported."

Another week down and my favorite people got married, Calvin and Macee got married on Saturday and they looked so happy. I taught Calvin for about 7 months in my old area, and he wants to get baptized so bad but he had to get married first. So now he will be getting baptized this Saturday and I'm lucky enough to go to the baptism. We also had a baptism on Saturday which was awesom.  Hector got baptized and it was such an amazing experience, his wife had been a member for a long time and so it was cool to see how excited they both were that he was making this decision.  One of the coolest parts about the baptism was the testimonies while they were changing, Sister Carpenter got up and shared her testimony and then she told Hector that ever single one of her kids was praying for Hector the last 2 weeks. It was so cool to see how supportive the members have been and how powerful prayer is. That was probably one of the easiest baptisms I've ever had. He had no doubts, problems, nothing. And I believe it was because of all the prayers for him.  Sunday was also a great day, we had a rough start and not a lot of people came to church. But later on Sunday night we were extremely low on new people to teach and the Lord just put us directly in a path to find 6 new people in like 30 minutes, it was crazy how the Lord just waits till the last second so that we can learn grow and have to lean on him, and right when we feel like nothing is going our way he performs a small miracle that reminds us he is there.
